Norman Foster's Reichstag (Stephen)

Norman Foster’s Reichstag uses circulating ramps around the inner edge of the dome in order to produce different points of view of the void. The void he created isn’t actually the main focus. For the main focus is the council chamber directly below the dome. In order to direct the peoples view towards the chamber he uses a funnel of angled mirrors that direct both the viewer’s focus and sunlight to illuminate the chamber below. Norman Foster’s Reichstag uses reflection in a very unique way to emphasize the main focal point of the building.
