My Interim Layout (LH)

Stan said for my design that I should work more with my main wall. He said that I don't use my wall to its full potential.

I've been playing around with different ways to use up this space, such as this quick skylight rendering

  1. I would agree with Stan in that you should find ways to make the wall more apparent as the central component (figuratively and literally) as there could potentially be a confusion with the central wall and the perimeter walls.
Drawing light into it would be a good option but there are two issues I see with it right now: a) the section would indicate that there is a huge solid wall that is doing nothing but serve as a heavy mass so you may consider using it as a hollowed light well, and b) the image you provided as a sample of the lighting effect is good but it seems to imply a direct light overhead to make for such an effect.
Have you considered possibly taking a hint from the Corbusier churches (most notably St. Pierre) and their light "cannons" or light wells that bring in light with concrete mass? This might be the best solution to distinguish your central concrete wall from the brick walls on the outside. I would also consider NOT using a coloured brick (or at least one that is so vibrant) on the exterior as it comes across as a bit generic (or you just stuck with what the rendering software offered) whereas you could design it so that it works better with the concrete palette.
As discussed earlier, there is redundancy in some of your imagery so really think about what comes out from the axonometric, what the zoomed in "shelving" condition in the central wall does, etc.) Think about the relative size of some of your images too in order to set a priority for the audience to focus on a specific idea first. This will likely force you into breaking the imagery over two posters.
