Tadao Ando's Kidosaki House uses concrete walls to make the space strictly private from the outside world (especially the tall curved one around the perimeter), creating a sanctuary for the three families that reside there. These walls have been carefully orientated and shaped in such a way to illuminate the space in the right places.
The Kidosaki House is highly relevant to my design and design intention because I want to create a well-lit writing area that is secluded from grange park.
