Trying to be helpful (Mariam)

I wanted to share this with Farah as it reminded me of her project that deals with shadows, however I thought it could benefit others in terms of the communication and presentation level.

Konkurs KOŁO "Projekt Łazienki" 2012
(farah, I hope this explains what I was telling you about in terms of the 'counter play' of lights being reflected from interesting forms. Also, like I said, i think its okay to exaggerate the reflections and shadows to communicate your intention more clearly- I don't know what's Vince thoughts on this though)

See how powerful the light is being reflected in those images? its really similar to what you are doing!

And this is their layout

Also, just to share, this is one of my favourite layouts:
see how the overall layout is divided into four 'separate' sections but they still read as one imagery:  The use of colour blocks and drop shadows that border the page make the layout consistent. And of course there's the use of dominant imagery, proper and consistent alignment, borders of imagery etc..

here is another one (sorry for the bad quality!) but its just to note how important it is to have a dominant photo in your layout to make for better communication

Same with this one:
Also, just to add, your dominant photo should not be any random image of your building (let's say a bird's eye view). your selection should be on a photo that speaks about your intention the most: If the sectional perspective or exploded axonometric show your intention clearly then I believe they should be your largest image. In Daniel's case, since his intention is about a panoramic view of the site, Stan told him that his site plan is critical and should be enlarged; below is a layout that has the site plan as the dominant photo (Daniel, notice how the rest of the site plan is drawn lightly so it doesn't distract from the rest of the imagery? There's several approaches to this and I think a good research can help you with the layout)

If that helped, there's lots them on google. And as Vince always say, take advantage of these tools to empower yourself
