It is quite surprising that given the nature of focus on site through this term that there is a trend in the projects to posit the project in a particular site yet fail to properly articulate this in orthographics (plan, elevation). The fact that there is no section that provides a clear rationale for the small slots between fin elements reinforces the designer's focus on plan as opposed to the fully 3D design of the project. Lighting effects between the fins could have made this something interesting in tandem with an understanding of the material properties relative to light coming through these discrete slots.
